We are currently recruiting for a multidisciplinary Industrial Project Manager/Estimator who is creative, innovative and wants to work for a progressive organization.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
• Experience in the development of EPC contracts and Industrial RFP’s
• Experience in writing and implementing industrial procedures, policies and operational frame works.
• Experience in estimating CR, LS and TM contracts
• Ability to develop or adapt Execution plans, Project Schedules, QMS plans, Project Manpower Plans, Procurement Plans and others.
• Experience in working with Owner, Engineers, Suppliers and Subcontractors from RFQ stage through to Project Close-out
• Possess an understanding of contracts and contractual implications
• Possess field experience to complement estimating and management capabilities
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as being a self starter
• Excellent facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Primavera and Autocad
• Must display a continuous regard to safety

Education and Experience
• Post Secondary Education is an asset (CET or P. Eng)
• Equivalent experience will be considered

Sil Industrial Minerals, a division of Sureway Construction Group (a privately held Edmonton based group of construction and manufacturing companies), is recruiting for the position of Divisional Controller. This position reports directly to our Chief Financial Officer as well as our Vice-President/General Manager.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where great organizational and time management skills are a must. In addition, this individual must be a team player, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be comfortable problem-solving and working independently.

The Divisional Controller will be responsible for all aspects of corporate accounting for the Sil Industrial Minerals division with specific responsibilities in the areas of financial reporting, internal controls, general ledger management, inventory control and costing, management of daily working capital requirements, assistance with day to day banking matters as they arise, and serving as liaison to external auditors including co-ordination and/or preparation of all requested documentation for the annual audit.

The ideal candidate is a CMA or CGA with a minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing setting.
